Shamanism is a practice which involves going into non ordinary state of consciousness through percussion in order to interact with the spirit world to bring insight and chanel transcendental energies into this world.
 
 

about the workshop:

Subtle Body Energy and Intro to Shamanic Journeying Workshop was created for those of us who are interested in deep healing work and ancient practices. Subtle body energy will engage our bodies at a deep level through movement and breath. Percussion Shamanic journeying will take us into non-ordinary consciousness in order to gain insight and healings from our compassionate spirit helpers. This workshop will help you to align your body and soul. Dress comfortably. Bring a friend. All levels are welcome.

Registration Fees:

Early-Bird Deadline: $50 early bird price before December 18th, 2019
Regular Workshop Fee: $60 after December 18th, 2019.

5% of the workshop proceeds will go to Indigenous Climate Action as an offering to indigenous landkeepers. www.indigenousclimateaction.com

Participants can bring:

Yoga mat, meditation cushion or small pillow, blanket, notebook, optional shamanic drum or rattle if you have one.

Sasha Pierce

Sasha Pierce is a shamanic healer and completed a one year shamanic healing program with Medicine Circle, Daniel Leonard (2017), Shamanic Journeying With the Spirits of Nature and Spirits of Nature Global Community Program with Sandra Ingerman (2019) as well as Komyo Reiki Shoden with Qi Belly, Paul Lara (2016). Pierce completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Octopus Garden (2019) and will begin her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training at Octopus Garden with YuMee Chung and Nicky Poole (2020).

Lana Lontos

Lana is the founder of Big Tree Mind, a teacher of yoga and meditation, psychotherapy student, and a practitioner and advocate for mindful, creative and authentic living. Lana's "Sustainable Shifts: Awareness of Moods and Habits" workshops have been a place of support for students interested in long-term and sustainable habit change. She is passionate about mindfulness practice, creativity and exploring how we connect to ourselves and our work. She has dedicated a decade to studying trauma, anxiety and addictions. She believes wholeheartedly that awareness, yoga and meditation are tools which support the nervous system and contribute to clarity, focus and awakening.
